You can find it here: NPCs are not guaranteed to show up on each run, so you may just have a run of bad luck if you still need to unlock them, but freeing them should have unlocked them regardless of whether you died on the floor or not. Just to be sure, are you going to the right door? They should appear in the top left of the breach, right next to the Gungeon's entrance. The same flag that controls whether they spawn in a run controls whether they show up in the breach, so I do not think it's possible for them to be gone from runs without showing up in the breach. Especially when it is a known issue that goes back 2 years and has not been fixed/ resolved. While riding the elevators, you'll encounter a number of bosses. Enemies are still aplenty though, so you'll have to show off your skills to get out alive.

Is it now impossible for me to get the upgrade shop without wiping my save files? Why was it even possible to drop the golden cell key without entering the boss battle? That has to be a bug, right? :( The upgrade store is still locked (wooden planks and all) and the shopkeeper and her robot have completely disappeared from my second floors (i've cleared the entire second floor on 6 seperate runs now, just to look for them). Unfortunately, i DIED to the boss of the second level on the run where i set them free.Īnd now they've disappeared completely. So i happily set the shopkeeper and her giant robot free and expected to be able to obtain upgrades from that point forth. For some reason, i found the golden cell key WITHOUT actually defeating the floor 2 boss, it just randomly dropped after i had cleared a room. Hey there, by this point im pretty sure i've managed to break my save in a rather unpleasant way.Īs im pretty sure you all know, the keeper for the upgrade shop has to be rescued on the second floor of the game before appearing in Breach.
